Très très belle illustration en effet. Il faut cependant reconnaître que le bouclier de Doura Europos est assez peu vraisemblable entre les mains d'un fantassin légionnaire.

Et pourquoi cela? Est-ce simplement parce que des illustrations sur le bouclier lui-même? En passant, je ne sais pas vraiment français, j'utilise traducteur Google.

Parce que ce bouclier était certainement un bouclier servant aux hippika gymnasia, c'est à dire à des jeux destinés à impressionner les foules dans les pays conquis.
Par contre la forme est sans nul doute exacte.

These are roman soldiers from the late 2nd century around 200 a.d. The shield design was found in Dura-Europos.
